The family of Belito Moreno is appealing for the public’s assistance in their search for the 63-year-old relative. Belito was last seen around 8pm on Thursday night before he walked out of a church service at Ministerio Evangelico Vino Celestial Church in Trial Farm Village, Orange Walk District. The daughter, Maria Matura, confirmed that her father had recently been experiencing memory loss which was caused by the seizures he had been having. It is noted that Moreno was on medication but forgot to take them before he left to go to church with his wife. According to Matura, the family conducted a search yesterday but they came up empty.
Daughter of Missing Man: “So my mom went outside from the church and asked the people that were out there and one man told my mom yes your husband just gone to the shop he said he was going to the shop to buy a soft drink. So my mom immediately went out and tried to see if she can find him. We went there they said they didn’t see him then afterwards somebody called us and told us that he was in front of Sugar City Supermarket. So we went and checked and a lady told us yes he was there but he took the road going to Corozal. Well yesterday we went looking for him all that area going to Corozal, San Jose, all those villages there. We had a police with us PC Torres she was there with us.”
