Fantasy Five and Pick-Three Games Return After Lengthy Hiatus
After a 241-day hiatus, the Fantasy Five and Pick-Three games are back. Last year, the games were canceled after the Lotteries Committee denied the license renewal application sent in by the Caribbean Gaming Company Limited and 369 Gaming Company Limited. According to the Lotteries Committee, the companies were not abiding by the operational requirements and regulations, therefore the decision was made to not renew the licenses. This was back in June 2023; fast forward today, and the company says it has taken all necessary measures towards compliance, Karil Wallace, Fantasy Five’s spokesperson, spoke to Love News.
Karil Wallace, Public Relations Officer, Fantasy 5: “From last year when the license had expired and a renewal was not given to us, to our company, there were requirements that had to be met and we did our very best as a company, as sister companies, which means 369 Gaming Company and also to Caribbean Gaming Company. We did our due diligence and ensured that the requirements were met for the Lotteries Committee and that was done. All the requirements were met and we were eventually granted our license last week so that we could have restarted our draws for the Pick 3 and the Fantasy 5.”
Reporter: The committee had noted that they had informed the company that they weren’t in compliance with some conditions so what is being done to ensure that this doesn’t happen again?
Karil Wallace, Public Relations Officer, Fantasy 5: “Well tell you what, we will comply, comply. I mean that’s the key. Requirements were, we wouldn’t want to delve into certain things in the past, but yes, the requirements were met in our eyes and it wasn’t in the Lotteries Committee. We did our very best to ensure that we had crossed all the T’s and all the I’s to ensure that once we have started and the license has been granted, we won’t have to go through that once again. So, the games are here, we are back, and back and in full effect. What we are working on as a company we’re looking at moving forward with more public notices and letting the public know exactly what Fantasy 5 is doing, what Pick 3 is doing. Also, right now we have our agents or the grocers that sell for us some of them may not be on the stream as yet, some are on. Feel free to visit your grocer or nearest outlet for the purchase of that. We have our network and our infrastructure in place, but due to the time frame that the system was down those machines were not restarted, wasn’t powered on, nothing. So some updates need to go out, and we’re doing that as we speak.”
Fantasy returned on Monday with a hundred-and-fifty-thousand-dollar jackpot and Pick-Three returned yesterday.
