Fatal Road Traffic Incident Claims Life on Lemonal Road

A man was killed in a road traffic incident on the Lemonal Road in the Belize District.  The victim, 37-year-old, Juan Charlesworth, was on his way home when he was hit by a passenger bus.  Police spoke on their initial findings.

ACP Hilberto Romero, Officer Commanding Eastern Division: “Investigation revealed that he was riding a bicycle in the area when he was knocked down by a bus being driven at the time by Elvis Dawson. A sketch plan was drawn, an NIP has been served and a sample was obtained from Dawson for testing. The body of was taken to the KHMH where he was pronounced dead on arrival investigation into this matter continues.”
