Fatal Road Traffic Incident on Garifuna Settlement Day Claims Silk Grass Resident

A resident of Silk Grass Village lost his life in a road traffic incident on Garifuna Settlement Day. 50-year-old Manuel De Jesus Hernandez was riding a bicycle near mile 2 on the Thomas Vincent Ramos Highway when he was hit by a Nissan SUV, which was being driven by 42-year-old Allen Brooks. Assistant Commissioner of Police Hilberto Romero provided additional details.
