Father and Sons Fined for Beating Up Taxi Operator

A father and his two sons have been fined for beating up a taxi operator. Sixty-two-year-old Gerald Lewis, along with his son, twenty-five-year-old, Keane Lewis and thirty-six-year-old Joshua Lewis, appeared in the Belize City Magistrates Court each charged with a single count of wounding. They all pleaded guilty. They were fined three hundred dollars each along with a five-dollar cost of court. They have until September 29 to pay their fines or face two months in prison. The group was charged for attacking taxi driver, Wilson Galvez, on July 7.
