Father Appeals for Help in Finding Missing 16-Year-Old Darchia McKenzie

The search is on for 16-year-old, Darchia McKenzie who was last seen by her father on Monday in Belize City at her mother’s house.  According to the father, Nathan McKenzie, he dropped off the teenager in the vicinity of Amandala Drive at around seven o’clock in the morning and has not seen her since.  The father has filed a missing person’s report but is discouraged that the Police have not issued a poster nor have they contacted him.  With that, he came to our studios today to make a public appeal.

Nathan Mackenzie, Father of Missing Teen: “Well so far nothing yet because I was expecting that they would put her picture on the news but nothing none at all. I called them this morning and they told me….well they called me this morning to do a little search we haven’t gone. Later on they called me and told me that the police mobile is down so I’m really concerned because my daughter is young yet whosoever she is with please make her come home. I dropped her at her mother’s house Monday morning at seven o’clock before I left to go to work. Up to today nobody knows where she is, nobody knows her whereabouts so I came to the media for the media to please help me out.”

Darchia is a third form student at Maud Williams High School and resides on Antelope Street.   If you can assist in locating the teenager, you are asked to call 621-2121.
