Father Calls for Increased Police Presence in Belmopan’s Party Strip After Daughter’s Murder

Tonight, a father in Belmopan is calling for greater police presence in Garden City’s party strip after his daughter was murdered after socializing. Stanley Galvez, the father of slain teen, Imarie Galvez, says that there is need for more police patrol near the nightclubs in that municipality. Galvez believes that young women socializing at night are being preyed on by men, who may be lurking at various establishments. Galvez pleaded today with the police to up their presence in the area.
