Ride Across Belize, an initiative created by the staff at the Social Security Board, handed over fifty one thousand dollars to eight feeding programs. Each received received more than six thousand dollars to keep their feeding programs alive. General Manager for Policy and Program at SSB, Chandra Nisbet Cansino, spoke to the media.

One of the recipients at today’s ceremony was Saint Peter’s Anglican School in Orange Walk Town. According to Principal, Rossana Briceno, the Saint Peter’s Feeding Program has been in existence since 1991.
Also receiving financial assistance were St Paul’s Anglican School Feeding Program in Corozal, Together We Can Solve Hunger in Belize City, Holy Cross School Feeding Program in San Pedro, Cornerstone Foundation Feeding Program in Cayo, Belmopan Police Feeding Program, Red Cross Society Feeding Program in Dangriga and Toledo Schools Feeding Program.
