FFB Launches Nationwide Coach Training Program to Elevate Belizean Football

In a concerted effort to raise the standard of football in Belize, the Football Federation of Belize (FFB) has embarked on an initiative to enhance the skills and knowledge of coaches across the nation. With a goal of nurturing homegrown talent and fostering a culture of excellence within the sport, the FFB has developed a comprehensive training program aimed at empowering 23 coaches. The venture was launched today at the FFB’s headquarters in Belmopan and will include a series of seminars and practical sessions. Wayne Casimiro, Head of FFB’s Coach Education, spoke about the initiative and how it seeks to improve football in Belize. 

The project is being done in partnership with the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF). Andre Walk, Coach Education Senior Manager at the regional body, spoke about how the venture came to fruition. 

The coaches are from across the country.
