Fire leaves man homeless

Seventy-seven-year-old Lionel Williams is seeking help from the public after his home was destroyed by fire this morning.  The fire started sometime after nine at Williams’ home on Jabiru Street in Belize City. Williams told Love News that he lost everything in the blaze.

Lionel Williams – Fire Victim:Well we were in the yard cleaning up and all of a sudden when we look to the back of the trailer fire just started. Very mysterious how it started because I didn’t have any electricity in the back, only the front and it didn’t start from in the front; everything gone, everything, lost everything, everything gone, lost everything but I’ll get it back I am not worried about it, it’s just material things. What I am hoping for now somebody to see that they can come and get the container out of here, cut it up and just take it out of here you know.”

Williams lived alone and is now focused on rebuilding. For those who would like to render assistance, Williams can be reached at telephone number 661-8496.
