Thirty seven days after the last Boledo Draw, avid gamblers are now seeing the last of the Fantasy 5 and Pick Three Games. The Lotteries Committee met recently and decided that the Fantasy 5 Game will see its last draw on Thursday, June 8. Fantasy Five falls under the Caribbean Gaming Company Limited whose license expired on May 31, 2023. During the committee meeting, it was noted that the company was not abiding by the licensing requirements and conditions, and therefore the decision was made to not renew the license. The Ministry of Investment along with the Lotteries Committee has since issued a public advisory that no one should be selling or buying Fantasy Five tickets after Thursday, June 8. In similar fashion, the Pick Three Game will also see its last draw on Thursday, June 8. A separate notice came from the Government, stating that the Lotteries Committee had also decided against the renewal of the license for the 369 Gaming Company Limited. This decision was also made on the backdrop of non-compliance of the license regulations and requirements. Again, a caution from the Ministry of Investment was issued, stating that the sale of illegal lottery tickets is strictly prohibited and is considered an offense. Any establishment caught selling illegal Pick 3 tickets, will be fined. Both advisories closed off, stating, quote, “The Ministry of Investment takes this opportunity to inform other license holder’s that in order for a renewal to be granted, they must comply with all licensing requirements and conditions.” End of quote.
