“The public will be able to go and visit the booth. Each booth will have different activities they will be giving out information as well on the different packages that they have for Belizeans or any other information that you might want to know. We will also have the food court where we will have the different variety of food. We are trying to get as much traditional food to be sold such as relleno, pibil. For the program of events we have cultural presentations being done by the Yo Creek Massahual Group as well as the East Indian Group from Corozal. They will be doing a presentation as well they’ll have a booth featuring their cultural dishes and cultural information. We’ll have Banquitas House of Culture as well doing presentations. We’ll be having games for adults and for kids, we’ll have prizes as well, we have one major raffle courtesy Tropic Lounge and Tropigas. Tropigas has donated a 19inch TCL flat screen TV and Chaa Creek is sponsoring a one overnight stay for two at a luxury accommodation with tour packages as well so we are looking at that grand raffle being over $1,000. We are raffling that at $5 a chance so with just $5 you’ll be able to get a chance to win that prize. During the day we will be having town tours and we’ll be having boat tours. This will be coordinated and organized by the northern tour guide association. The town tours there are different packages that we’ll be offering and the boat tours as well.”
There will also be free musical entertainment by Abraxas and Super Furia Band. The expo starts at 11 o’clock on Saturday morning.
