Flowers Bank Resident Urges Action on School Bus Dilemma

A resident of Flowers Bank in Belize Rural North is calling on the area representative to come up with a solution to a bus dilemma in the village. The mother of two says that her children have been having a hard time getting to and from school since the only village bus keeps breaking down, making them either late for school or absent. Celia Belisle is calling on the proper authorities to address this matter with urgency.

Belisle added that this problem has been happening since last year. Our newsroom reached out to the area representative for Belize Rural North, Marconi Leal who says he will not engage in a back and forth, and that the bus owner is currently in the United States.
