After serving almost four years in the Foreign Service, Ambassador Patrick Andrews will be retiring. Prime Minister Dean Barrow confirmed this at last week’s conference.
Rt.Hon Dean Barrow, Prime Minister of Belize: “Yes I understand that he is retiring. He’s retired before and came back and then I think this time it’s for real but the Minister and I we spoke about a possible replacement but the Minister has not confirmed to me what his wish is in that regard.”
Andrews was initially appointed as the Ambassador to the United States in May 2015.
