Foreigners Go Missing in Northern Belize

A foreign couple has been reported missing. Corozal police is asking for your help in locating 52 year old Canadian national Francesca Matus who was last seen on Tuesday, April 25. Her boyfriend, 36 year old American national Drew Thomas De Voursey can also not be located. According to police, Matus’s friend who is also an American National, Joseph Milholen, reported that on Wednesday morning, he went to pick up her at her house at Serenity Sands on Consejo Road in the Corozal District in order to take her to the Phillip Goldson International Airport.  However, Milholen could not locate Matus. He then tried locating De Voursey who resided in Ranchito Village. His motorcycle was parked on Matus’s driveway and her white Isuzu Rodeo was missing. According to Milholen, the last time that he saw Matus was on Tuesday in Corozal Town with De Voursey. Matus was last seen wearing a Denim white short pants and a white long sleeve blouse with a pair of brown wedges shoes. She is described as being about 5 feet 1 inch in height, having brown wavy hair with highlights and is slim built. De Voursey was last seen wearing a blue and white shirt and a camouflage long pants with a pair of brown boots. He has a tattoo of a chain on his right arm and is described as being 6 feet 6 inches in height.  If you know the whereabouts of this couple, you are asked to contact the nearest police station.
