Forest Department Summer Camp Focuses on Conservation Innovation

The Forest Department will host its 6th summer camp under the theme, “Forests and Innovation: New Solutions for a better world”. The initiative began in 2015 and has a renewed mission to create awareness and educate youth on the conservation and management of natural resources. The camp is designed to engage participants in a variety of activities aimed at promoting partnerships and wildlife conservation. Through hands-on experiences, educational workshops and collaborative projects, the youth will learn innovative approaches to preserving natural habitats and ecosystems. Program Manager Yanira Pop tells us more.
