Former Ambassador Alexis Rosado Arraigned in High Court on Sex Crime Charges

He was formally accused of sexual crimes in December 2021 and had to face a magistrate, the media and the public in April 2022.  Today. Ambassador Alexis Rosado was back in Belmopan for an arraignment, this time in the High Court.  It was quite a sensational case when it broke as Rosado was regarded as one the country’s top ambassador.  We join Reporter Jaleeza Roberts for a review of the matter.

Earlier today, Love News confirmed with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Francis Fonseca that Ambassador Rosado remains as an agent on the ICJ Belize Team.  Rosado has been serving in the diplomatic arena since August 2014 when he was first assigned to Guatemala after serving as a Government CEO in the previous six years under the Barrow administration.
