Former Belmopan Comprehensive School Principal Philip Price Passes Away

Former Principal of the Belmopan Comprehensive School has passed.  78-year-old, Philip Michael Price died yesterday.  In death, Price is remembered by many including several government officials, CEOs and productive residents, particularly in Belmopan.  Price served as the principal of the BCS for 22 years, for the period, 1977 to 1999.  Ambassador Jose Alpuche noted on social media, quote, “you have played a key role in helping mold so many of us.” End of quote.  Another resident out west has testified that Price’s contribution to the Belmopan community was valuable beyond estimation.  Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology has lamented Price’s passing, noting that he was a remarkable leader who left an indelible mark on the BCS school community. His dedication to education and unwavering support for both students and staff will always be remembered.”  End of quote.
