Former Blue Economy Minister Andre Perez Unfazed by Cabinet Return Uncertainty

When will former Minister of the Blue Economy Andre Perez return to the Cabinet? He says he doesn’t know, and he’s not losing sleep over it. Five months ago, Perez took a leave of absence from his ministerial role after becoming embroiled in a sexual assault scandal. No police report was filed against Perez, but the government ordered a legal review of the incident to determine whether he committed any actionable wrongdoing. But where is the Attorney General Ministry in its investigation? It seems nobody knows, which led to Perez being asked if he feels, he’s being treated like a child. Here’s his response. 

Perez added that his focus is on the concerns of his constituents and lending support to the municipal bodies in his area as municipal elections approach.
