Former Chairman of Armenia Village Dies in Belmopan Road Traffic Incident

A resident of Armenia Village, Cayo District, lost his life last night in a road traffic incident in the Salvapan area of Belmopan. 43-year-old, Ruben Pasadas was reportedly on a motorcycle when he collided into 32-year-old, Barton Jackson, who was also on a motorcycle, heading in the opposition direction.  Both Pasadas and Jackson were taken to the Western Regional Hospital where Pasadas passed away.  According to a resident in the area, it was just before ten o’clock when she heard a loud crash, and then heard cries for help.  When she went outside to see what was happening, she noted that one of the cycles had caught fire.  The surviving victim, Barton Jackson was treated for abrasions to the knees and right hand.  Love News understands that Pasadas had once served as the Chairman of Armenia Village.
