Former Government Minister Hubert Elrington Narrowly Escapes Prison Time

Former Government Minister and Attorney, Hubert Elrington narrowly escaped the execution of a committal warrant earlier this month. Reports to Love News is that one Steven Fuller had filed for a committal warrant against the father on October 4 when they failed to pay monies owed to him, by order of the Belize High Civil Court.  Elrington appeared before Justice Farnesse, and was ordered that two thousand five hundred dollars be paid forthwith to avoid prison time.  Thereafter, Elrington was required to pay one thousand monthly until the total amount is paid in full.  Elrington was represented by Attorney Norman Rodriguez who had declined to give the details of the civil matter.
