Friends and Family of Dyandre Chee Stage Impromptu Protest in front of PM’s House

Following Briceno’s statements, friends and family of Chee got on their motorcycles and staged an impromptu protest that led them in front of the Prime Minister’s house. The small protest lasted a few minutes, and today, Briceno was asked about it.

Hon. John Briceño, Prime Minister of Belize: “Did you see the protest ? I just saw the video. I know it’s a few people that stopped by and protest but that’s their right if they want to protest. I don’t take it personal. In a time when people are angry or their emotional they don’t think things through. I am sure that they know me better, they know that I would not tolerate any kind of police brutality or anything against any citizens in Orange Walk Town and the entire country so if they wanted to it’s a very small group but again it is their right if they want to protest anywhere in the country.”
