GEM Donates to Belize City Residents

Over the weekend representatives of Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) were in Belize visiting affected areas. GEM is a nonprofit organization in the US which quickly deployed representatives to assist. Shipping containers have left Miami, destined for Puerto Barrios, which will bring essential supplies to all those affected in Belize. The GEM team has been on the ground since November 4, distributing aid, assisting affected families, meeting with local government officials, and planning on how to assist long-term in Belize. Hipolito Novelo reports.

We’ll have more of the recovery in Belize City later in the newscast.
