George Town Village Activist Launches Toy Drive to Bring Christmas Joy to 130 Children

A resident of George Town Village, Stann Creek District, is seeking help to spread some Christmas cheer to the children in his village. Eloy Martinez, a community activist, is holding a toy drive for a hundred and thirty children from the rural community. Martinez says that the toys will be delivered on December 24 as part of a larger project, which includes holding a Christmas Dinner and party for the children.

Martinez says he aims to host around five hundred for the dinner and is accepting monetary or in-kind donations for the event.
