Gilroy Usher Junior Arraigned on Criminal Charges, Pleads Not Guilty

Gilroy Usher Junior was arraigned in court late yesterday evening for three criminal charges, namely, one count to damage of property, one count of threats to damage property, and one count of harm.  Usher’s charges follow the damages he caused to his father’s pawn shop at mile two on the George Price Highway yesterday.  According to court reports, Usher ran a vehicle into the glass doors and shutters at the shop.  Further allegations say that Usher also brought harm to one Ancellia Stevens.  In the arraignment, Usher Jr., who is aspiring to be an Attorney-at-Law, appeared unrepresented before Chief Magistrate Jayani Wegodapola and pleaded not guilty to all three charges.  He was granted two separate bail of one thousand five hundred dollars each plus one surety of the same amount.  The charges arise from two separate incidents. The damage to property occurred on Sunday, June 25, 2023 while the threat to damage to property and harm occurred on Monday, June 26, 2023.  Love News understands that the amount in damages is an estimated twenty thousand dollars.
