Grocery bag program resumes

Today the Ministry of Human Development, Families and Indigenous Peoples’ Affairs resumed The Grocery Bag Program in select areas across the country. According to a social media advisory from the Government the beneficiaries in the listed areas in Belize city and Dangriga can receive their bags. Wellworth recipients can visit Wellworth Store and collect their grocery bag, Salvation Army recipients can visit The Salvation Army outlets on Regent and Oleander Street to collect their grocery bag, Pickstock Development Association, Belize City recipients can visit Amin Store located on Queen Street and collect their grocery bag ,  Ladyville recipients can visit LOWS Supermarket located in Ladyville and collect their grocery bag any time from Monday through Friday,and Dangriga recipients can visit Quality Poultry located on Stann Creek Valley Road and collect their grocery bag.  Love News reached out to the Minister of Human Development, Families and Indigenous Peoples’ Affairs Honourable Dolores Balderamos who stated that the Ministry will continue to aid those affected by the pandemic and will roll out their strategies as soon as they are finalized.
