Guatemala’s President-Elect, Bernardo Arevalo, and Belize PM Briceño Meet to Discuss Strengthening Diplomatic Ties

Today, Guatemala’s President-Elect, Bernardo Arevalo, paid Prime Minister John Briceño a courtesy visit. The Central American leaders met at the Laing Building in Belize City, where they discussed areas of cooperation and ways of  bolstering diplomatic relations. The meeting lasted about an hour and was followed by the Prime Minister inviting the President-Elect to lunch. The visit also included discussions between the Foreign Ministers of both nations. The meeting was not open to the media.
