Guinea Grass Village Shooting Leaves Resident Hospitalized, Alleged Shooter Detained

A resident of Guinea Grass Village is hospitalized after he was shot while socializing on Sunday. Around 4:30 p.m., 18-year-old Adrian Noh was at a residence in the village, when his friend’s uncle brandished a firearm and began firing shots in the air. Noh told police that he asked the man to stop shooting, but the man later pointed the gun at him and let off a single shot. Noh was hit in the leg while the man fled into a nearby home. Police transported Noh to the hospital, where he underwent surgery for the injuries he received. Noh’s alleged shooter, 31-year-old, Benjamin Cruz, was later detained by police.  Love News understands that a point-twenty-two pistol was found behind his home.
