On Sunday evening, a road accident happened in the west, this time near the Harmonyville community. Just before seven o’clock, twenty-two-year-old Jonathan Young and his girlfriend, eighteen-year-old Cordelia Yatz were traveling on a motorcycle. At the same time, twenty-five-year-old Stephaun Sosa was heading in the same direction in a car when they collided. Correspondent Fem Cruz spoke to Young about the incident.
Jonathan Young, Accident Victim: “On Saturday night at about six thirty I was coming from the village of Cotton Tree upon arriving at St.Matthew’s mile 39 there was a car in front of me swerving a little so I decided to reduce my speed and then I saw the car come off the road on the right hand side and as I was about to pass him he suddenly made a U-turn on the road so I couldn’t avoid it.”
Fem Cruz, Cayo Correspondent: Tell us the injuries you received and your girlfriend as well.
