Harvest Caye Employees Cry Foul: Allegations of Unjust Termination Surface

Several men who were recently employed by Harvest Caye in southern Belize have come to the media to file their concerns over what they have coined as unwarranted termination.  Of the 13 persons who were terminated, eight of them came to the media to say they are hoping the proper authorities, including the Labour Department, would intervene on their behalf.  Love News understands that the group went on a one-day strike last Thursday, and by Sunday they were informed that they were being fired.  According to the men, the management was aware of the employees’ intention to protest.

Our newsroom has sought comment from Harvest Caye, but they are yet to respond.
