Health Minister responds to concerns over shortages of medication

During today’s meeting with the Nurses Association of Belize, representatives of the association and the Ministry of Health examined closer the challenges of getting information. Minister Kevin Bernard explained that he’s optimistic that once a clear set of procedures are employed, the process can move more efficiently. Here’s how he explained it. 

Minister Kevin Bernard sought to quell the initial worry that there are not enough medications in the public health facilities. He said that now that healthcare professionals have access to inventory information, they can make better decisions for their patients.
