Police are investigating a case of aggravated burglary in the Cayo District. Police say that about 10:30 yesterday morning, they responded to a robbery near Mile 49 on the George Price Highway where they saw a 62-year-old man of Camalote Village. The man reported that earlier that morning while he was at home with his wife and teenage daughter, two men who had on masks, camouflage clothing, rubber boots and black gloves on their hands, entered through their back door with what appeared to be a rifle and two nine millimeter pistols. The intruders then reportedly ordered them to lie down on the floor. They were then tied up with duct tape after which the intruders ransacked the house. A number of items including jewelries and electrical appliances were stolen. The two men then fled the scene in a White Hyundai SUV which was later recovered by Police.
