Human Remains Found Near San Jose Succotz Ferry in Cayo District

Human remains were uncovered this morning near the San Jose Succotz Ferry, Cayo District.  Love News understands that the remains were stumbled upon by Police officers around ten o’clock this morning.  Authorities responded to an area across the Mopan River, on the road to the Xunantunich Temple.  The upper body was already in an advanced state of decomposition, preventing the authorities from immediately identifying any signs of violence.  The body has since been transported to the Medical Lab in Burrell Boom for further analysis.  We understand that Police were able to confirm that the body is of a male individual.
