Hundreds attend the annual Japan Day activities

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of Belize and Japan’s diplomatic relations, on Sunday, the Embassy of Japan Belize held its annual Japan Day. The cultural event took place in Belize City where numerous activities highlighting Japanese culture were held. The event featured traditional kimonos, sushi, crafts, and competitions around Japanese Anime. Reporter Vejea Alvarez and videographer Shayanne Dena attended the event and filed the following report.
