On Saturday, Corozal Police were on patrol when they intercepted a vehicle and conducted a search, which resulted in the discovery of drugs. Police shared the details at this morning’s press brief.

“Corozal Police conducted a search of a vehicle. They were on routine patrol when three male persons were found. A search was conducted on the vehicle and three thousand, six hundred and twenty-eight grams of cannabis was found. They are presently at the station and are to be charged sometime today for them to appear at the Magistrate Court sometime this evening.”
A total of three thousand six hundred and twenty-eight grams of cannabis was found in the vehicle. Today 37-year-old Abner Cardenas, 25-year-old Vincent Aldana, and 21-year-old Ian Mossiah were arraigned in the Corozal Magistrate Court. Ian Mossiah pleaded guilty and he was fined ten thousand and was instructed to pay the fine in installments of three hundred dollars monthly commencing today. As a result, the charges were withdrawn against Cardenas and Aldana.
