IDB Motions presented to the House; Leader of the Opposition says GOB borrows too much

 Motions for loans from the Inter-American Development Bank were also tabled today. The first one, for eight million U.S. dollars, tackles trade and investment facilitation. Prime Minister John Briceño explained why Government needs this facility.

The agenda also showed IDB loan motions related to digital innovation and boosting economic development, valued at 10 million U.S. dollars. There is also a program for a sustainable and inclusive Belize, to the tune of 15 million U.S. Leader of the Opposition, Moses “Shyne” Barrow criticised the PUP government for borrowing way too much.
