The Ministry of Immigration has announced the completion of the adjudication process for its recent Amnesty Program. All individuals who applied for amnesty and have not yet received a status update are now advised to visit their nearest Immigration Office to obtain information regarding the outcome of their application. This step is crucial for applicants to learn whether they have been approved and to proceed with the necessary next steps before the impending deadline. Successful applicants must visit an Immigration office to complete their payment, which is set at BZD $500 for adults and $250 for minors. When making payment, approved individuals are required to bring a completed Security Bond Form and a copy of their surety’s Belizean identification, such as a passport or voter’s ID card, noting that the surety must be a Belizean by birth. The Ministry has emphasized that all payments must be finalized by the strict deadline of March 31, and encourages applicants to act promptly to avoid any delays.
