Independence villager fighting to stay alive after allegedly being hit by a cop

 A construction worker of Independence Village is fighting for his life after being hit by a cop on a motorcycle over the weekend. On Saturday night, around 7 o’clock, 28-year-old Donovan Erskine was reportedly crossing the Southern Highway near Bella Vista Village when he was hit by Constable Elojio Teul who died as a result of the incident. According to police, Teul lost control after hitting Erskine and died almost instantaneously. However, Erskine’s family is calling on the police to conduct a thorough investigation. Erskine was initially transported to the Independence Polyclinic and later transferred to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. His sister, Jasmine Sho, explained the family’s plight to Love News earlier today.

According to Sho, the police have not been transparent with their findings. The incident has left her brother paralyzed.
