Inspector “Charro” Passes

 The Belize Police Department is morning the loss of forty-four-year-old Inspector Graciano “Charro” Briceno. A message from Police Commissioner Chester Williams read in part (quote) “Charro was an exemplary officer who never allowed his size to keep him from doing any assigned task. He was a people person, a motivator and a hardworking and committed officer.” (End of quote)  Williams says that the police family will certainly miss his jokes, laughter and most importantly his work ethic.  Briceno is from Orange Walk Town and passed away at the Northern Regional Hospital just before midnight yesterday. He was known for his larger-than-life personality and dedication to his career.
