Integrity Innovation Lab Partners to Fight Corruption in Belize Government

The Love Foundation, the US Embassy, and the Accountability Lab have partnered to improve accountability within the government and fight corruption.  The Integrity Innovation Lab seeks to work with grassroots Belizeans to develop ideas to enhance good governance and accountability by finding unique ways to shift societal norms. On Saturday, the program participants, dubbed “accountreprenuers”, met with various government, private sector, and non-governmental stakeholders to build relationships and network for change. Minister of State in the Ministry of Education, Dr. Louis Zabaneh, spoke about the importance of the initiative and the collective effort to bolster good governance.

Senator Janelle Chanona also took part in the friend-raiser event and commended the women working to improve their communities and spark change.
