Investigation Underway in Elderly Man’s Death in Cayo District

Police out west are investigating the death of an elderly man in the Cayo District. On Saturday, police found the body of 84-year-old Santiago Ortuno hanging from a tree on a farm in Harmony Ville. Police say the elderly man was already in a state of decomposition and was reported missing last week. Police say the resident of St. Matthews Village did not mention to his family members where he went but left a note saying goodbye. We must note that the police believe the incident was suicide.
