Investigators Closing in on Suspect in Imarie Galvez Murder Case
Investigators out West say they are closing in on the person they believed murdered 19-year-old Imarie Galvez. Last month the teen, who was strangled to death, vanished from her home in Belmopan and turned up dead three days later. Galvez’s disappearance and murder have remained a mystery so far with no arrest being made. However, today, Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams, stated that the police are hoping to soon provide Galvez’s family with the justice they have been seeking.
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police: “There are certain updates that I will not say at this time because if I say it we’ll alert the person who is the subject of the investigation but yes we have made some small progress and we are hoping that going down we’ll be able to make further progress.”
