21-year-old Jason Horace Anderson, aka “Jason Williams Jr”, was arraigned yesterday before Senior Magistrate, Aretha Ford. He was read six charges, two counts of attempted murder, two counts of use of deadly means of harm and two counts of grievous harm. The charges stem from a shooting incident on September 8 in which Mark Phillips and Luquan Flowers were shot on George Street. In court, no plea was taken from Anderson since the charges are indictable. He was denied bail and remanded to the Belize Central Prison. Anderson’s case has been adjourned to November 20. It is noteworthy to mentioned that Anderson has another case of attempted murder pending before the court. In that case, Anderson and Reese Fitzgibbon were arraigned jointly for the shooting incident of Steve Findley which occurred on January 8, 2018. Anderson is the son of Jason Williams Sr. also known as Soup of the Supaul Street territory.
