JetBlue Airlines to Launch Direct Flights from New York to Belize in December

Jet Blue Airlines has announced its intention to roll out direct flights out of Belize, come December.  According to its online announcement, the service will be a non-stop flight from JFK in New York, and will be as frequent as three times per week.  According to the Belize Tourism Board, this is the result of a partnership with JetBlue, marking New York as the eleventh city in the United States to offer non-stop service to Belize.  CEO in the Ministry of Tourism, Nicole Solano, told the media that this is welcoming news.

Minister of Tourism, Anthony Mahler has commented, saying, quote, “This is a huge win for our ongoing efforts to make Belize accessible to more U.S. visitors, with JFK being one of the biggest air travel hubs for tens of millions of travelers. We’re excited for JetBlue to join the family of airline partners offering nonstop flight options to Belize and we invite everyone to visit and discover the beauty of this enchanting country and all that it has to offer.”  End of quote.
