John to Saldivar Host Independent 10th of September Celebrations in Belmopan

Former Area Representative of Belmopan, John Saldivar, has announced his own commemorative Celebrations for the tenth of September in the City of Belmopan. Saldivar commented via a Facebook post earlier today that “This is not Politics; this is Belize and we must never forget our History” Earlier in the Celebrations season, our newsroom confirmed that the capital city would not be having any celebrations due to allegedly being ill-prepared since the new council just came into effect in March of this year. Pablo Cawich, Mayor of the City of Belmopan, believes that next year his administration will be better prepared.

Saldivar’s event is set to begin at 2pm at the Mae Gordon Park.
