Kelsie Chi of Bullet Tree Falls SDA Wins San Ignacio Zone for the Coca-Cola Spelling Bee

A batch of 16 contestants from eight primary schools in the San Ignacio zone was today battling it out for their place in The National Coca-Cola Spelling Bee. Over the course of this morning, that select group of 16 was whittled down to a top three. At the end of what was a tight race, Kelsie Chi of Bullet Tree S.D.A. Primary School was declared the winner. She spoke to our correspondent, Eliu Yacab earlier today. 

Karim Zaiden of St. Andrew’s Anglican placed second.
