58-year-old Kent Peters walked free from a forgery charge this afternoon in court before Justice Marilyn Williams after the Director of Public prosecutions office entered a nolle prosequi as the claimant, Bowen & Bowen withdrew the charge. In September of 2013, Peters was charged with forgery after he was found with a cheque that was tampered with whilst trying to cash it at Bowen & Bowen. On September 8, 2015, Peters was indicted at the Supreme Court where he pleaded not guilty. Peters who was unrepresented was handed a document indicating that his matter has ended.
