In an effort to enhance the understanding of employee rights and benefits, the staff of the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital Authority (KHMHA) are engaging in a two-day training session facilitated by the Social Security Board (SSB). This initiative, which began on August 8, 2024, is designed to ensure that KHMHA’s 700 employees are well-informed about their rights, sickness benefits, contributions, insurable earnings, and the processes involved as members of the Social Security scheme. The training aims to create a seamless connection between employees, employers, healthcare providers, and insured individuals, highlighting the importance of being informed about the benefits available to them. This initiative underscores the commitment of KHMHA and SSB to fostering a well-informed workforce, ultimately enhancing the overall welfare and security of employees. The training will continue through September, providing ample opportunity for staff to engage and clarify any queries they may have regarding their social security benefits.
