Ladyville Resident Fined for Public Drinking

A Ladyville resident is fined for drinking rebel rum in public. 43-year-old, Delvon Donovan, appeared unrepresented in the Belize City Magistrate Court yesterday where he was read a single charge of public drinking. Donovan pleaded guilty and was fined $25 plus a $5.00 court fine which he was given until March 28 to pay in default to one week imprisonment. Allegations are that on Sunday at noon, Donovan was found consuming rebel rum inside Vin Li Store in Ladyville.
