The Land Movement group headed by Nigel Petillo is calling on the Government to allow Belizeans access to land.  Petillo has been at the forefront primarily on behalf of squatters and other people interested in acquiring farming lands in the country.  His most recent endeavor surrounds the 2.9 thousand acres of land at mile forty-four that is privately owned by the former Central Bank Governor, Glenford Ysaguirre.   David Almendarez and local musician, Ras Indio joined Petillo at the head table this morning to speak on the unjust distribution of lands in the country.  The group held a press conference this morning in which they accused the Government of being corrupt and spiteful.
